Tanaka Shlgeharu, Imawaka Taro, Srdjan Djordjevic and Naoya Tsunoda have presented the results of their long term study at the 34 International Conference of Biomechanics in Sport. In the scope of their study, they have evaluated mechanical properties of the knee extensor and patellar tendon during squatting with the muscle contraction sensor method. They conclude that the MC sensor may be a powerful method for evaluating the mechanical changes of the muscle-tendon complex in the athletic and rehabilitation fields.
